Aperspective Media works exclusively in the development media sector.

Our small team is passionate about helping civil society and the private sector apply compelling and concise media strategies to reach their target audience. The collective is made up of producers, reporters, sound engineers, scriptwriters and other creative talents. These individuals have worked within both commercial and community media houses and can therefore confidently advise clients on maximising the impact of their campaigns.

Our mission is two-pronged: to strengthen civil society through the effective use of community media; and to create radio programmes that build an informed and involved citizenry.

Aperspective Media is headed by Rejané Claasen. Claasen is a seasoned radio producer and trainer. She has worked within civil society for Idasa’s Democracy Radio; in the public media sector producing SAfm Radio’s AM and PM-live; and in the commercial media sector producing Lerato Mbele on CNBC Africa.
